ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

The industrial group THYSSENKRUPP is currently undergoing talks with NATIONAL STEEL and AK STEEL, the fourth and fifth largest steel companies in the United States, on the subject of forming a joint venture. The German group is also in talks with Japanese KAWASAKI STEEL and NKK on the subject of an alliance.
