Brussels, 06/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Union Troika, at ministerial level, is on a visit to Belgrade this week where, on 8 February, it is in particular to meet the President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Vojislav Kostunica, Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic and Foreign Minister Goran Svilanovic. The Troika, made up of EU Council President, Anna Lindh, Belgian Minister of State Annemie Neyts (for the future Belgian Presidency), the High Representative for Cfsp, Javier Solana and the Commissioner for External Relations, Chris Patten will in particular discuss cooperation between the FRY and the EU and developments in the region, including the situation in southern Serbia and relations with Montenegro.
The Troika's visit to Sarajevo, on the other hand, has been postponed, "the process of forming the government in Bosnia still having to be concluded", says a press release from the Swedish Presidency.
