The American group APACHE acquired nearly all of the operations of the Spanish REPSOL-YPF in Egypt for USD 410 million. This acquisition, which improves the profitability of the group, will enable APACHE to increase by 75% its net production in Egypt. Furthermore, REPSOL-YPF decided to sell to other companies the non-strategic assets located in the Gulf of Suez (Egypt), in Vietnam and Gabon and values them at USD 525 million.
