ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

The German energy group E.ON (market capitalisation of EUR 46 billion), which has just gained EUR 11.4 billion from the sale of its stake in VIAG INTERKOM, is discussing in view of a possible merger with the British producer POWERGEN (market capitalisation of EUR 6.2 billion).
