Commission proposes modified list of 32 substances to be removed for water

Brussels, 18/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission drew-up a new list of the 32 substances it is proposing to make a priority and for the progressive eliminate of waste in water, in order to improve the quality of EU surface and ground water (Directive 2000/60/EC, entered into force last 22 December) as a tool for the implementation of these requirements.
