18/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by Dutch Liberal Bob van den Bos, the European Parliament approved the conclusion of the EU/Bangladesh cooperation agreement which aims to support the country's sustainable economic and social development while developing political dialogue between the two parties. The agreement does not comprise any trade preferences (see EUROPE of 11 January, p.15).
