09/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Green parties of Italy, France, Germany, Finland and Belgium (the EU countries where they are part of government coalitions) announced after a meeting in Helsinki that they plan to strengthen their cooperation on questions decided at the level of the EU. Satu Hassi, Finnish Environment Minister, told the press it was not possible to say in advance that they would all have the same policy but it will be useful to get to know their respective positions.
