03/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - President Kostunica said in a New Year's interview with the daily Blic that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia "is of flawed construction" and that it should be "rethought, with the sound and sustainable elements it contains being kept". Mr Kostunica insisted that negotiations on the future relations between Serbia and Montenegro be conducted "first and foremost" by the Yugoslav, Serb and Montenegrin Parliaments.
