03/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided that Portuguese measures against takeover bid by Secil Companhia Geral de Cal e Cimentos SA and Holderbank for cement company Cimpor Cimentos de Portugal SGPS were incompatible with EU competition law. EUROPE will cover this in more detail soon.
