03/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Secretariats of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Commonwealth will be sponsoring on 8 and 9 January in Barbados, in cooperation with the authorities of this country, high-level consultations on the OECD initiative aiming to abolish harmful taxation practices. It will be recalled that, last November, the OECD published a draft memorandum on the abolition of such practices.
