The Belgian chain COLRUYT acquired, for an undisclosed sum, the French group DOUMENGE (turnover of EUR 100 million in 1999 with 300 employees), operating under the name LES FILS DE A. DOUMENGE and specialised in the distribution of foodstuffs to the catering sector, company restaurants and hospitals in the south of France.
