ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banking

The Belgian bank-insurance group KBC is to take over the Czech investment bank PATRIA FINANCE (expected net profit for 2000 of 100 million Czech crowns), specialised in securities activities, transactions on the capitals market, merger and takeover consultancy. KBC BANK will take 75% of the capital and KBC SECURITIES 25%.
