Portuguese aid to pig sector are unlawful

Strasbourg, 04/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has taken a final negative decision regarding aid measures adopted by Portugal early 1999 in favour of the pigmeat sector. Portugal has two months for recovering this aid from beneficiaries.
