Brussels, 15/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Parliament's mini-plenary session taking place next week in Brussels will start on Wednesday 20 September at 15pm with a declaration by Loyola de Palacio, Commissioner responsible for energy and transports, on the measures to take following the energy crisis and the rise in oil prices. Until 16pm, Mrs Palacio will answer questions from MEPs on this issue.
Furthermore, declarations by the Council and Commission on terrorism in Spain have been added, at the start of the Thursday morning session, while the issue of Afghanistan will in the end not appear on the agenda. (For the complete agenda, see yesterday's EUROPE, p.10).
