The Greek Government has decided to issue a call for bids for the sale of a minority share in OLYMPIC AIRWAYS and the takeover of its management, for lack of interest by BRITISH AIRWAYS, which had an option. The British carrier has confirmed its decision not to buy 20% of the Greek group and to withdraw its subsidiary SPEEDWING. See EI of 18 May.
