ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) telecommunications

The British company NATIONAL GRID announced two acquisitions in South America in the telecommunications sector. On the one hand it acquired 30% of the capital of the Chilean TELEFÓNICA MANQUEHUE, for GBP 55 million, it spent GBP 40 million for a 50% stake in SOUTHERN CONE COMMUNICATIONS, a company working in Argentina and Chile.
