The Scottish group ROBERT WISEMAN DAIRIES has made a bid of £240 million in order to take over the dairy and cheese activity of British UNIGATE, already receiving bids from DAIRY CREST. The bid was accepted by UNIGATE which recommended it to its shareholders.
