ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) finances

American CITIGROUP is to invest $750 million to take 15% of the shares in each of the 5 branches of financial activities of the Taiwanese FUBON, namely FUBON INSURANCE, FUBON SECURITIES, FUBON COMMERCIAL BANK, FUBON LIFE INSURANCE and FUBON ASSET MANAGEMENT. The operation will be carried out via new share issuance.
