ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) automobile equipment

US equipment manufacturers MERITOR and ARVIN INDUSTRIES are to form the 11th world group in the sector with $7.5 billion in turnover. It will employ 36,500 in 25 countries and 121 factories and will be held at 66% by the shareholders of MERITOR and at 34% by ARVIN shareholders.
