Green light for merger between Scandinavian leaders of finance, MeritaNordbanken and UniDanmark

Brussels, 11/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the concentration between the two main Scandinavian financial groups, the Finnish-Swedish MeritaNordbanken and Denmark's UniDanmark, within the "Nordic Bank Holding". MeritaNordbanken, Foremost financial institution in Finland and third bank in Sweden, provides insurance services to households and companies.
