American BEN & JERRY'S has reportedly received an offer of acquisition from the part of its compatriot DREYER'S GRAND ICE CREAM. The latter is proposing between $35 and $38 per share, which gives the group a value of between $250 and 270 million. UNILEVER also has its eye on BEN & JERRY'S. See EI of 31 March.
