The Swiss group SULZER has acquired the "pumps" activity of Finnish AHLSTROM CORPORATION for the sum of EUR 145 million. With this acquisition, SULZER will become one of the many world producers of pumps for the paper and cellulose industries, with a turnover that will increase from EUR 445 million to 580 million, with 4,000 to 5,000 persons employed.
