ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) internet

The American firm EFFICIENT NETWORKS (equipment for rapid Internet access) is to take over NETSCREEN TECHNOLOGIES, specialised in security on the Internet, for $905 million through an exchange of shares. NETSCREEN shareholders will have an 8% stake in the new entity.
