ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) metals

The Ukrainian plant UKRAINSKY ALUMINII is to take a 30% stake in the aluminium plant of Nikolaiev (southern Ukraine), the largest in Europe with a production of 992,000 tonnes in 1999. Following this sale, the Ukrainian State will still have a 25% stake in the factory.
