ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) oil

The Italian oil giant ENI has made a 70 pence a share bid for BRITISH-BORNEO (£133.3 million turnover in 1999), valuing the British oil exploration and production company at £263 million. BRITISH-BORNEO has recommended this bid to its shareholders.
