Germany's second largest tour operator C-N (DM 9.07 bn turnover for the year ending end-October 1999) has declared an interest in purchasing the tourism activities of HAVAS VOYAGES, and that it had made an offer to its owner AMERICAN EXPRESS. With a market share of over 20%, a turnover in tourism of FF 4.5 bn, 371 travel agencies and 1.6 million customers, HAVAS is France's leader in the sector.
