ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) privatisation

- Sweden: The Swedish Government is considering selling up to 30% of the State-owned telecommunications group TELIA in June, a operation valuing the group between SKr 300 and 400 bn. In addition, TELIA has announced the sale of its 14% stake in EIRCOM, the Irish telecommunications group, share valued at some 1.45 bn euro, and is considering the sale of its 49% stake in the Brazilian mobile telephone operator TESS.
