24/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - The EPP Group asked at the opening of the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for the suspension of the powers of the Russian parliamentary delegation, following the war in Chechnya. There is to be a vote on Thursday afternoon, after the debate in the presence of Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov.
