PLASTIVALOIRE (France) has acquired control of the plastics activities of MAGNETI MARELLI FRANCE (Italian group MAGNETI MARELLI), which produces parts for car dashboards, representing annual turnover of FRF 50 to 60 million. To this effect, the French firm created MAGNETI MARELLI, a joint subsidiary in which it is 70% owner and the Italian group 30%. PLASTIVALOIRE is expected to buy MAGNETI MARELLI's share in March 2001.
