Second “mid-term” round for joint gas purchasing tender aggregates 20 billion cubic metres of gas

27/03/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 26 March, the European Commission welcomed the fact that the new “mid-term” call for tenders for the joint purchase of gas via the AggregateEU mechanism (see EUROPE B13598A12) had enabled supply and demand for almost 20 billion cubic metres of gas to be matched. Participants will now be able to negotiate contracts bilaterally. For this second call, demand from European companies amounted to 29 billion cubic metres, while “reliable”...
