Anti-corruption directive—co-legislators meeting on 26 March for another round of negotiations

Following the initial round of negotiations that took place on 28 January, negotiators for the European Parliament and the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU will hold the second trilogue on the new EU anti-corruption directive (see EUROPE B13174A4) on 26 March.

This next meeting is expected to focus mainly on Chapter 2 and the definition of the offence of corruption. The European Parliament’s and the EU Council’s mandates differ on this point as well as on prevention...
