EU extends EUMM Georgia mission by two years

03/12/24 (Agence Europe) – The EU has extended the mandate of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia) by two years, until 14 December 2026, according to a legal act published on 3 December in the Official Journal of the EU. It has been allocated a budget of €50.65 million for the period 15 December 2024-14 December 2026. EUMM is an unarmed civilian mission whose aim is to contribute to stabilisation, normalisation and confidence-building among the parties...
