EPP Group in European Parliament elects its coordinators for parliamentary committees

On the evening of Wednesday 17 July, the MEPs of the EPP Group elected their - mainly German - coordinators for the parliamentary committees. Their role is to chair the EPP group in the respective committees, build consensus among the group's MEPs, negotiate on its behalf with the other groups and act as spokespeople for the group on committee issues.
