European Commission inaugurates new border crossing point between Ukraine and Moldova

On Thursday 16 May, the European Commission, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania and the United States inaugurated the new border crossing point between Ukraine and Moldova in Reni, Ukraine.

As part of the 'Solidarity Lanes’ initiative (see EUROPE B13377A20), the Commission has provided €11 million to support works at this border crossing point to allow for smoother traffic flow through the border and better connectivity between Ukraine, Moldova and Romania. “With our support, today’s...
