On Tuesday 14 May, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) published a report entitled ‘LGBTIQ equality at a crossroads: progress and challenges’, outlining the situation for LGBTQI people in Europe.
Based on the testimonies of more than 100,000 people in 27 EU countries as well as in Albania, the Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia, this document shows that while modest improvements can be seen, particularly in education, there are still many obstacles.
