European Commission allocates €125 million in humanitarian aid

On Tuesday 7 May, the European Commission announced that it had allocated €125 million in funding to support vulnerable populations affected by the civil war, displacement and climate emergencies in Yemen.

This aid will focus specifically on food security and the fight against malnutrition, specialised health and protection services and demining actions. Programmes focussing on education and child protection will also benefit from this support, said the European Commission in a press...
