The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) on Tuesday 30 April clarified (Case C-670/22), the conditions for the transmission and use of evidence in cross-border criminal cases, in particular those linked to EncroChat, an encrypted telecommunications service used for illegal drug trafficking.
