European Commission and Saudi Arabia continue discussions on a memorandum of understanding on energy cooperation

In connection with the World Economic Forum, held in Riyadh from 27 to 29 April, the European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson, held talks with the Saudi Minister for Energy, Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, on the signing of a memorandum of understanding on energy cooperation.

The aim of this protocol is to strengthen bilateral ties in the fields of energy and clean technologies in order to advance the goals of the Paris Agreement and COP28.
