European Commission opens applications for EU agri-food chain observatory

On Tuesday 9 April, the European Commission announced that it had launched a call for applications to set up the EU agri-food chain observatory.

The creation of this observatory was one of the measures announced in mid-March to strengthen the position of farmers in the supply chain (see EUROPE B13380A4).
