15 European ministers call in vain for emergency aid eligibility period to be extended until end of 2024

At the Agriculture and Fisheries Council on Tuesday 26 March, Portugal, supported by 14 other countries (including Spain, France, Italy, Poland, Romania, Malta, Hungary and Croatia), called for an extension, until the end of 2024, of the eligibility period for the 2022 decision providing for exceptional aid due to the effects of the war in Ukraine launched by Russia.
