Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, reiterates his government’s opposition to mechanisms for relocating asylum seekers

04/01/2024 (Agence Europe) – The Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, declared on Thursday 4 January that his government would refuse to accept any asylum seekers relocated under the ‘Pact on Migration and Asylum’, which was the subject of a political agreement on 20 December (see EUROPE B13318A1). He added that he was generally opposed to the introduction of such a system, Polish media reported. The Prime Minister had already expressed his opposition to these relocation programmes...
