BEUC alarmed to see far too many dangerous products on EU market still

14/03/23 (Agence Europe) – The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) and ANEC believe that the number of dangerous product notifications submitted via Safety Gate (the EU’s rapid alert system) in 2022—as reported on Monday, 13 March, in the annual report (see EUROPE B13140A15)—is far too high and calls for more rigorous action by national market surveillance authorities.
