24/01/23 (Agence Europe) – On Sunday 22 January, the European Commission opened a consultation period on the modernisation and rationalisation of the legal framework for European population statistics (see EUROPE B13104A11). Data is currently collected from the Member States separately, with different periodicity and legal bases.
