Uganda, European Commission allocates €5 million to develop vaccine against Sudan strain of Ebola virus

Brussels, 29/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Monday 28 November that the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA) has mobilised €5 million from the EU budget allocated to the EU4Health programme to support clinical trials for vaccines and treatments against the Sudan strain of the Ebola virus. There is as yet no vaccine or treatment for this strain which is affecting Uganda. €4 million of this sum should meet the funding needs...
