Ursula von der Leyen calls on newly elected politicians to unite to move forward on European path

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, called, on Friday 28 October, on the politicians elected in the general elections at the beginning of October(see EUROPE B13036A27) to unite and work to move Bosnia and Herzegovina forward on its European path.

The European Commission had recommended, on 12 October, that Bosnia and Herzegovina be granted candidate status for EU membership (see EUROPE B13041A13).
