Thierry Breton confirms that names are circulating for post of SME Envoy

The Commissioner for the Internal Market, Thierry Breton, confirmed, on Monday 19 September that the selection process for the future SME Envoy was still ongoing.

“It is a position that requires a number of qualities and is almost a voluntary position. Therefore, a certain number of criteria must be met. A number of names have been proposed and are currently being studied and I hope that we will have a rapid response”, he replied to EUROPE at a press conference.
