The European Commission adopted, on Friday 16 September, three legislative proposals on the new Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Mauritius for a period of 4 years (2022-2026).
The current protocol has been extended for 6 months while this agreement is concluded (see EUROPE B13020A12).
The new protocol provides the following fishing opportunities for EU vessels: 40 tuna seiners and 45 surface longliners.
