Greenhouse gas concentrations in atmosphere hit a new record high in 2021, according to US study

Concentrations of the main greenhouse gases in the atmosphere - carbon dioxide (CO₂), methane (CH₄) and nitrous oxide (N₂O) - all reached new records in 2021, according to a report published by the American Meteorological Society on Wednesday 31 August.
