MEP Stéphane Bijoux elected third vice-chair of European Parliament’s Committee on Development

30/08/2022 (Agence Europe) – MEP Stéphane Bijoux (Renew Europe, French) is now the third vice-chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Development. The parliamentary committee proceeded to appoint him on Tuesday, 30 August, after a vote by acclamation. Stéphane Bijoux succeeds [former] MEP Chrysoula Zacharopoulou, who left the European Parliament in May to join the French government. “Originally from Réunion, [this MEP] is particularly sensitive to sustainable development...
