26/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council decided on Tuesday 26 July to extend the restrictive economic measures against Russia by six months, until 31 January 2023. These sanctions, first introduced in 2014, have since been extended every six months and have been greatly expanded since February 2022 and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The measures include restrictions on finance, energy, technology and dual-use goods, industry, transport and luxury goods.(CG)
